Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK) is the largest Toyota factory in the world, where the company manufactures vehicles and parts for its cars. The factory employs more than 8,000 workers.
This plant was opened in 1988 and has more than 32 million square feet of manufacturing space. It is located in Georgetown, Kentucky, and produces over 550,000 vehicles a year. The plant makes a number of different vehicles including the Camry (America’s best-selling car), Camry Hybrid, Avalon, and Lexus ES 250/350/350h. Additionally, it produces four-cylinder engines and various powertrain components used in Toyota’s hybrid vehicles.
TMMK is one of the greenest automotive factories in the world and has been awarded Energy Star Partner of the Year by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Additionally, they have received an award from the US Department of Energy for excellence in energy efficiency.
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. (TMMC)
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. (TMMC) is one of Toyota’s five vehicle manufacturing plants in North America. TMMC currently operates three plants: two in Cambridge, Ontario (North Plant and South Plant), and a third in Woodstock, Ontario (West Plant).

The Tahara plant of Toyota Motor Corporation is an automobile factory in Tahara, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The plant was designed by Kiyonori Kikutake, who also designed the Aichi Museum of Modern Art and the Nagakute Museum of Art, as well as other notable buildings such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Miyagi Stadium, and NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building.
It is a major employer in the region; at its peak in 1986, it employed around 4,000 workers (out of a population of approximately 7,000). The factory has produced over 30 million vehicles since opening.

Toyota’s Motomachi Plant opened in 1958. It was their second automobile production facility in Japan. This plant mainly produces Lexus LC and Lexus GS models for global customers.
Toyota Motor Kyushu (TMK)
Toyota Motor Kyushu (TMK), a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation, is a Japanese automobile manufacturing company that specializes in producing cars for the global market. The company is based in Fukuoka, Japan.
TMK was founded in 1991 when the parent company, Toyota Motors, decided to establish an assembly plant in Fukuoka, Japan to serve the Kyushu region and its surrounding areas. TMK has since grown into a full-service automobile manufacturing plant with more than 5500 employees. In addition to manufacturing automobiles, the company also provides training services for technical staff and engineers who are interested in working for TMK.

Where Are 2022 Lexus NX Manufactured?
TMMC (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc.) President Fred Volf announced back in 2019 that the latest generation of the Lexus NX would be assembled at the Cambridge, Ontario factory as of 2022.

Where Were The First-generation (AZ10) Lexus NX Manufactured?
First-generation Lexus NX models were manufactured at the Miyata plant in Fukuoka, Japan.
Lexus NX is a compact crossover SUV, which was launched for the first time in 2014.
The first-generation model (AZ10) didn’t come to the U.S. until 2015, but still gained a lot of acclaim from reviewers and enthusiasts alike. Its spindle grille was an expression of its predecessor’s design, but larger and more pronounced. The NX also introduced Lexus Safety System+, which is now standard on all models. It added a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, and intelligent high-beam headlamps.
In 2018, the NX received a minor facelift that updated the front bumper and headlights, plus new features including available second-row heated seats for F Sport models and an available moonroof that was standard on the hybrid variant.
